Jennifer Weinstock, LCSW

Welcome! My focus is on supporting couples and individuals navigating relationship and marital challenges, while also offering compassionate, non-judgmental care for family conflict, life transitions, and general mental health concerns. Together, we can explore the patterns showing up in your life and relationships, and work toward building connections that feel healthier, deeper, and more meaningful.

I see therapy as a space to slow down and think carefully together. The goal isn't to fix or optimize you, but to help you understand yourself more fully. My approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative, and I hold deep respect for who you are and what you bring. I work to create an accepting space that honors your unique story, strengths, and needs.

About Me

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in software development and management for many years. It was work I found genuinely engaging, but over time I found myself wanting something that felt more directly connected to people and to what matters in their lives. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural next step, and it's a decision I haven't looked back on. That earlier career still shapes how I work, though, as I understand the pressures and rhythms of professional life, and have a certain fluency with clients who are high-achieving, analytically-minded, or navigating demanding careers.

Relationship and couples work has become a particular focus and passion of mine. I'm drawn to it because of how central these relationships are to our wellbeing, and how much it can hurt when they feel difficult or out of reach. There is something I find deeply rewarding about the moments when partners finally feel heard by each other, or when a long-standing pattern that has felt confusing for years finally starts to make sense.

I have a graduate degree from NYU Silver School of Social Work, and have done postgraduate training with the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I have also been trained in several evidence-based approaches, with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) being at the heart of how I work. EFT focuses on building secure emotional bonds and helping partners understand the deeper needs and fears driving their patterns together.

Rates & Insurance

Services and Fees

I see clients virtually, and am licensed in the states of New York and Florida. Sessions are 50 minutes long for individuals, and 60 minutes long for couples. Longer sessions may be available upon request.

I'm in-network with Aetna, Oscar, Oxford, UMR, and United. If you have out-of-network insurance, please check your plan for deductibles and requirements. I cannot ensure you will be credited or reimbursed for our sessions, but I will provide you with monthly invoices, or "superbills", that provide all the information required for reimbursement.

For those not using insurance, my rates are $200 for individual sessions, and $225 for couple sessions. A sliding scale is available upon request. I'm happy to work with you to keep therapy affordable!

Please reach out with any questions or if you'd like to book a free consultation.
